CLARENCE AMBERG

Clarence " Mike" Amberg, 80, of Lincoln, formerly of Atlanta, died at 3:54 p.m. Friday, July 17, 1981, at Christian Nursing Home, where he had resided since 1978.

Amberg was a retired farmer.

He was born Dec. 17, 1900, in Lincoln, the son of Nicholas and Hannah Amberg.

Surviving are a daughter, Maxine Seggelke, Lincoln; a son, Clarence "Buck" Amberg Jr., Hayward, Calif.; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren: three sisters, Lula Scroggin, Lincoln; Bernice Leesman, Atlanta; and Myrtle Norfleet, Lompoc, Calif.; and a brother, Clifton, Lincoln.

He was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.

His funeral will be at 10 a.m., Monday at Quiram Funeral Home, Atlanta, with Clyde Miller and Stuart Couve officiating. Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens, Pekin, with a committee service at 11:30 a.m. Monday.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the Christian Nursing Home.

Clarence Amberg was my great uncle.
