Abraham Boughan died last night at the home of his son, Samuel, at 313 Wyatt Avenue, at the age of 86 years, 6 months and 18 days. Deceased was born Oct 6, 1833 the son of M/M Merriman (sic - should be Berryman) Boughan. He was born and reared in Logan county and his life occupation was farming.

Abraham Boughan was married twice. His first wife was Helen Martin, and the second was Mary E Morris. He is survived by two children, James, of Canton, IL and Samuel of Lincoln. He leaves five half sisters, Mrs. Uriah Wndell, Camel Hill, IL; Mrs Lavona Gallagher of Sage, Neb; Mrs. Sherman Pierce of Marion, Kansas; Mrs. Alonzo Morris of York, Neb, and Mrs. William Fulscher of Lincoln. Funeral services will be held at 13 o'clock Sunday April 27 at Lucas Chapel with Rev Muir officiating.
