MARY “MAYME” DONATH

Mary “Mayme” Donath, 96, of Lincoln died at 9 am Monday, March 6, 1989 at St. Clara’s Manor Nursing Home, Lincoln. Mrs. Donath was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and the Holy Family Society. She was born June 5, 1892 in Casey, a daughter of Charles and Anna Schmuts Boy. She married Joseph A. Donath on 11 November 1915 in Lincoln. He preceded her in death May 10, 1959. Surviving are two sons, Henry and Raymond, both of Lincoln; one daughter, Rita Donath Queen of Titusville, Florida; two brothers, Louis Naugle of Mount Pulaski and Glenn Naugle of Lawndale; one sister, Clara Folkes of Lincoln; 13 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren. Her funeral will be at 9:30 am Friday at Holy Family Catholic Church with the Rev. Norman Goodman officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Lincoln. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 pm Thursday at Kerrigan Funeral Home, Lincoln. The rosary will be recited at 5 pm.
