MRS. WM. HEINZEL SR., DIED HERE TODAY

Mrs. Eda Pause Heinzel, wife of William Heinzel, Sr., passed away at 10:15 o'clock Wednesday morning, death occurring at the home at 1326 East Broadway. She had been in ill for the last few years, a sufferer with asthma, but her condition did not become serious until Tuesday, death taking place after a few hours of suffering.

Mrs. Heinzel was born at Waldenburg Germany, October 7. 1858, and died at the age of 72 years 4 months and 11 days. Mr. and Mrs. Heinzel were married March 4, 1880 and came to this country one year later, coming directly to Lincoln and have since made their home here.

Children born to Mr. and Mrs. Heinzel include: A 0 Heinzel, deceased, Mrs. David Wilson, William Jr., Herman, Henry and Antoinette of Lincoln and Mrs. B. H. Dinsmore of Maplewood, Mo, A brother Herman Pause residing on North Sangamon street in this city also survives. Paul and Gustave Pause and twin sisters are deceased. Twenty-three grandchildren and one great grandchild are among the surviving relatives.

She was a faithful member of St. John’s church and belonged to various organizations in the church. She was also a member of the Security Benefit Association. March 4 Mr. and Mrs. Heinzel would have been married 51 years, the Golden anniversary being celebrated last year.

The funeral will take place Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock from St. John’s church, with the Rev. J. A. Hoefer in charge. Burial will be made in Union Cemetery.
