Mrs. Lena Lohrenz Died Sunday Night

Mrs. Lena Lohrenz, 68, wife of Henry Lohrenz, Sr., passed away at her home in New Holland at 6:20 p.m. Sunday of complications following an extended illness.

She was born in Germany April 26, 1866 and came to this country when 17 years of age. She was married to Henry Lohrenz Sr., in Lincoln Jan. 12, 1888and he survives with the following children: Herman, Henry Jr. and Adolph all of New Holland and Mrs. Emil Sandel of Lincoln. Brothers and sisters surviving are:Mrs. Reka Geise, New Holland; Mrs. Johanna Schroeder, Lincoln; Herman and Carl Buse. both of New Holland; John Buse, Burtonview, and Fred Buse, Germany.

Decendant was a member of the New Holland Evangelical Lutheran church where services will be conducted by Rev. M.H.A. Guemmer at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon and burial will be in Richmond Grove cemetery.

She was my great great aunt.
