CHARLES MUNYON OF LAKE FORK DIES

MT. PULASKI – Charles Munyon, 87, a retired merchant of Lake Fork, was found dead at 9 a.m. Friday at this home by his wife. He had been under a doctor’s care.

The body is at Schahl Funeral Home and arrangements are incomplete.

The deceased was born at Lake Fork June 25, 1873, the son of Henry and Martha Manley Munyon. He married Inez Manley in Springfield Nov. 2, 1904, and she survives as do two sons, Vernon of St. Louis, Mo., and Kenneth of Lake Fork; two daughters, Mrs. Eva Duncan of Decatur and Mrs. Myrtle Shrader of Lake Fork; a sister, Mrs. Blanche Swards of Chicago; two brothers, Clyde of Chicago and Ray of Montua, N. J.; nine grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

He was a member of Lake Fork Four Square Gospel church.
