CLIFFORD MUSICK, 42, DIED SUNDAY

The death of Clifford Merritt Musick, 42, occurred at one o'clock Sunday morning at his home north of Lincoln in the Zion neighborhood, where he had been ill for the past six months.

Mr. Musick spent most of his life on a farm north of Lincoln, although for three years resided in Lincoln and followed the carpenter trade.

He was born near Lincoln, August 22, 1895, the son of John and Anna Wren Musick. He was married in Joliet, November 6, 1914 to Betty Menzel, who survives with two sons, Walter Stanley and Edwin Clifford Musick. Brothers and sisters are: J. L. Musick, Mrs. Bertha Martinie, Lincoln; Miss Bessie Musick, Milwaukee; and Mrs. Lib Wubbens of Mt. Pulaski.

The funeral was held at 1:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon from the family home and at 2 o'clock from the First Methodist church. Rev. Laren Spear conducted the services and burial was in Zion cemetery. The following were pallbearers: Walter and Clarence Amberg, Merritt and Paul Martinie, Albert Wubben, and Lawrence Musick.

Clifford Musick was my great great uncle.
