The death of Mrs. Johanna W. Schroeder, 83, of 818 North Logan street, occurred at 6:45 p.m. at St. Clara's hospital. She had been ill five weeks.

She was born December 12, 1869, in Germany and married Harmon Schroeder in 1891. He preceeded her in death a number of years ago.

Surviving are eight children;William Schroeder, Middletown; Henry and Harmon Schroeder, Peoria; John Schroeder, Middletown; Mrs. Minnie Christy and Mrs. Bertha Werth, Mason City; Mrs. Helen Beverman, Lincoln and Mrs. Martha Theobald, Elkhart, Ind. Three brothers also survive: John and Herman Buse, Lincoln and Carl Buse, New Holland.
