WILLIAM AMBERG FUNERAL RITES TO BE SATURDAY

William Amberg of 329 Wayatt Ave., died at 4:30 p.m., Thursday in St. Clara's hospital where he had been a patient for nine weeks. He was a retired farmer.

Friends may call at Holland and Barry Funeral Home Friday afternoon and evening. The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Services will be 9 a.m., Saturday from St. Mary's church of which he was a member. Msgr. Leo P. Henkel will officiate and burial will be in Union cemetery.

The deceased was born in Lincoln Oct. 1, 1876, the son of John and Catherine Schmidt Amberg. He married Ida Leesman Feb. 5, 1902, and she died Oct. 26, 1957.

He leaves three daughters, Mrs. Alfred Olson of Broadwell; Miss Mabel Amberg of Lincoln and Mrs. Florence Johnson of Lincoln and six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Preceding him in death were six brothers and two sisters.
