JESSE BOTKIN

ATLANTA (PNS) - Jesse E. Botkin, 78, a lifetime resident of Atlanta, died at 8 a.m. Sunday at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital, Lincoln. He had beena patient for a week.

His funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Christian Church, the Rev. James Shockney officiating. Burial will be in Atlanta Cemetery. Visitation will be 7 to 9 tonight at the G. H. Tuttle Residence, and after 1 p.m. Tuesday at the church. The Quiram Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

He was born Feb. 20, 1890, at Atlanta, a son of Abraham Lincoln and Georgia Jones Botkin. He married Wavie Rench June 8, 1926, in Bloomington.

Surviving are his wife; a son, Dick, Chicago; three grandchildren; and a brother, Oliver, Pomona, Calif. A brother, a sister, a half-brother and a half-sister preceded him in death.

Mr. Botkin was a member of the Christian Church and Royal Neihbors of American Lodge, and a charter member of the Atlanta AmericaN Legion Post.
