William Elwood Hurley, 75, of 602 Grand Ave., died at 10:30 p.m., Saturday at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Fricke Memorial Home with the Rev. Lloyd Tebo officiating. Burial will be in Elkhart cemetery.
Visitation will be Monday afternoon and evening at the funeral home.
The deceased was born Nov. 4, 1892 in Lincoln, a son of Daniel and Edith K. Russell. He married Florence Alma Hall November. 22, 1915 in Springfield. Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Helen Sechrest, Atlanta; and Mrs. Hilma Littrell, Elkhart; three sister, Mrs. Myrtle Kutzner, Mrs. Emma Sherwood and Mrs. Edna Bacon, all of Lincoln; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church.
