Funeral Held Sunday For Henrick Koester

A large crowd attended the funeral Sunday of the late Hen-rick Koester, which was held from the Lutheran church at 2:30 Rev. Guemmer in charge.

Mr. Koester was born, in Germany April 19, 1852, and died at his home here at the age of 78 years, 3 months and 26 days. He was married in Germany to Rebecca Dorothy Clousin. [Sic.] The widow survives with the following children: Mrs. Charles Miller, Hedrick, Ia., Harry, Herman and Henry Jr., and Mrs. John Aldag of New Holland, and Mrs. Lewis Beverman of Lincoln. He also leaves two brothers Henry Koester who resides at New Holland and John Koester in Germany.

Mr. Koester was a resident of this county for the past 36 years and was a member of the Zion Lutheran church of New Holland.

The pall bearers were grandsons of the deceased.
