WIFE FOLLOWS HUSBAND

To Spirit Realm, Both Die Within a Week

Sunday at noon, in St. Clara's hospital, Jacob Langenbahn passed away after a long and useful life at the age of 82 years, following a long stay in the hospital. He was laid in his grave Wednesday afternoon with appropriate services.

At an early hour Thursday, at 3:30 o'clock, his widow, Mrs. Sophia Langenbahn, joined him in the spirit world, dying at that hour. Like her husband she also had been in the St. Clara's hospital for some time. Her condition has been serious for weeks past and her demise was not unexpected by the members of the family.

Mrs. Langenbahn was born in Germany and came to this country in 1853. She was married to Jacob Langenbahn in the early part of the year 1854. Mrs. Langenbahn passed away at the age of 77 years, 7 months and 13 days. She leaves three children, Mrs. Timothy Hardin and John Langenbahn of West Lincoln and Charles Langenbahn of Council Bluffs, Ia.

The funeral will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the Lutheran Zion church, Rev. J. Barthel officiating. Burial in Union cemetery.
