Norman Liesman

Norman D. Liesman, 58, of Lincoln, died at 5:50 p.m. Wednesday, July 5 2000, at his residence. Funeral services will be at 7 p.m. Saturday, July 8 2000, at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln with Rev. Mark Peters officiating.

Burial will be at a later date.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Norman was a carpenter.

He was born Nov. 16, 1941 in Lincoln a son of Delbert and Hazel (Kiest) Liesman. Surviving are his mother, Hazel Liesman of Lincoln; two sisters, Carolyn and Kenneth Levi and Shirley and Charles Rigg; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father Delbert Frank "Hoot" Liesman and one brother Delbert Lyle Liesman and one great-niece.

Norman enjoyed racing of most kinds, especially NASCAR and dirt track racing. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
