Thomas McMullen died at his home, No. 1117 Fourth street, in this city, at 4:30 a.m. Monday, at the age of sixty-six years, after a short illness of congestion of the brain. Deceased was a native of Alleghany county, Maryland, where he resided until twenty-one years of age. He was married in March, 1850, and came to this county many years ago. He was the father of nine children. The funeral took place from the M.P. church in the Fourth ward, and was conducted by Rev. John Altic.
