THOS. A. MILEHAM, LAKE FORK, IS DEAD

Thomas Andrew Mileham, retired merchant in Lake Fork, died at his home there at 3:15 p.m., Wednesday, April 3, 1946, aged 84 years, 3 months, and 30 days. He had been failing in health for several months.

Mr. Mileham was born Dec. 4, 1861, in Elkhart township, Logan county, a son of James and Nancy Ridgeway Mileham. In Lincoln during 1895 he married Esther Virginia Jones, who preceded him in death March 13, 1943. Mr. and Mrs. Mileham lived in southern Illinois for a few years, and then located in Iowa for five years, returning to Lake Fork 25 years ago, and he operated a grocery store there more than 20 years. He was a member of the Church of God.

Decedent is survived by one sister, Mrs. Marietta Cherry, of Spencer, Iowa. The body was removed to the Schahl funeral home in Mount Pulaski, where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, conducted by Rev. J. Wayne Staley. Burial will be made in the Carlyle cemetery, one mile north of Lake Fork.
