Services for Samuel Morris 86 of Middletown who died Thursday in Abraham, Lincoln hospital will be at 2 p.m. Saturday from Middletown Methodist church of which he was a member. The Rev. John I. Osborn will officiate and burial will be in Irish Grove Cemetery.

Friends may call at Holland and Barry Funeral Home Friday afternoon and evening and at the church from noon Saturday until the hour of the service.

The deceased a retired carpenter and contractor was born Nov. 1 1877 at Middletown the son of Elijah and Clara Young Morris. He married Elisabeth Hardy and she preceded him in death. He leaves a son Sam H. Morris of Bensonville;two sisters Mrs Ruth Zimmerman of Lincoln and Mrs Harmon C. Johnson of Greenview;two grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother.
