Miss W. Musick Funeral Services Will be Friday

Miss Bessie W. Musick, formerly of Lincoln, living at the Methodist Home in Chicago, died at 11:30 a.m., Tuesday. She was a retired deaconess. The body will be taken from Chicago to Wright Funeral Home Wednesday night.

Friends may call at Wright's Thursday afternoon and evening and until the hour of services. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. (DST) Friday from the funeral home with Dr. T. J. Marshall Crapp officiating. Burial will be in Zion cemetery. The deceased was born in Zion community, north of Lincoln Aug. 1, 1887 the daughter of Thomas and Ann Wren Musick.

She attended the Chicago nurse's training school and was ordained as a deaconess in July, 1927, at Springfield. Miss Musick served as an instructor and supervisor in the following schools and homes: Chaddock Boys' school at Quincy, Methodist Old People's home, Milwaukee, Wis.; Methodist Old People's home in Chicago; Odd Fellows Children's home in Lincoln; the Baby Fold at Normal and the Young Women's Methodist home in Cincinnati, O.

She leaves a brother, Thomas Musick, and a sister, Mrs. Bertha Martinie of Lincoln. Preceding her in death were four sisters: Mrs. Nicholas Amberg, Mrs. Martin Steffens, Mrs. William Wubben, and an infant, Mary, and three brothers, Everett, Albert B., and Clifford Musick.
