At her home 608 Clinton St., Tuesday May 9th 1893 at 10:35 pm. Mrs. Nancy Ramsburg, aged 68 yrs 6 mos 29 days. The deceased was a native of Chilicothe, Ohio. There she married Thomas Simpson, May 11, 1843. By this marriage five children were born, all of whom preceded her to Mclean Co., Illinois.

In McLean she met and married John F. Ramsburg, Oct. 25, 1857. To this union was born 2 children, Frank M. and Mrs. Charles Carpenter.

Mrs. Ramsburg was an industrious woman all her life. She raised 2 families of children and plodded patiently for years without complaint.

Three years ago she was stricken with paralysis, followed by other attacks. She quietly yielded up her life at the time mentioned and in every sense of the sentence it may be said: a good and noble woman has gone.

Funeral: Thursday, May 11, 1893 at 2 p.m. at the First M.E. Church. Interment in Union Cemetery.
