MT. PULASKI – Mrs. Ora Rothwell, 93, died at 2:35 p.m. Friday in Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Lincoln. She was the last member of the Mt. Pulaski World War One Mother’s club.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday from Schahl Funeral Home with Gary Reiswig officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pulaski cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Sunday.
The deceased was born Nov. 13, 1871 in Mt. Pulaski, the daughter of Elias and Elizabeth Dwyer Buckles. She was married to Tom L. Rothwell in November 1890 in Mt. Pulaski. He preceded her in death Jan. 1, 1939.
Survivors include four sons, Everett, Clarence Wendell, and Robert Thomas, all of Mt. Pulaski; and Harry B. of Shawano, Wis.; one daughter, Mrs. Louis Hild of Lincoln; and a brother, Huber of Mason City. There are also 10 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
