WALTER H. RUWE

Walter H. Ruwe, 65, of 910 Sixth st., road commissioner in West Lincoln township for the past 24 years, died at 6:15 a.m., Tuesday at his home. He was a former employee of the Logan county highway department.

Services will be at 2 p.m., Thursday at Zion Lutheran church of which he was a member. The Rev. Arthur E. Neitzel will officiate and burial will be in Union cemetery. The casket will be taken to the church at noon Thursday.

Visitation will be at Holland and Barry Funeral Home Wednesday afternoon and evening.

The deceased was born in Chester Township, July 13, 1901, the son of William and Louise Hoffert Ruwe. He married Erna Bohn Sept., 4, 1937 in LaFayette, Ind., and she survives as do his mother, two sisters, Mrs. Carl Ruff of Strasburg; and Mrs. Andrew Gaydosh of Mason City; and three brothers, Elmer and Harold Ruwe of Lincoln and Alfred Ruwe of Oxford, Ind.

The deceased served on the advisory board of the Salvation Army for many years.
