The Last Will and Testament of Richard Edgell of the Town of Corwin in the County of Logan and State of Illinois made and published the twenty fifth day of July in the year of our Lord, One Thousand Nine Hundred and five.

In the name of God, Amen, I, Richard Edgell of the Town of Corwin in the County of Logan and State of Illinois of the age of seventy five years, and being of sound mind and memory, do hereby make, publish and declare this, my Last Will and Testament, in the manner following, That is to say:

First It is my will that my funeral expenses and all my just debts be fully paid.

Second I give and devise to my daughter, Olive Myers, for her use during the term of her natural life, and subject to the condition hereinafter set forth, my real estate described as follows to wit: Beginning at the N. W. corner of the N. E. quarter of the S. W. quarter of section Seventeen (17) H.19 R.4 W.3rd P.M. thence running west nine & 96/100 chains, thence south five & 02/100 chains, thence east nine & 96/100 chains, thence north five & 02/100 chains to the place of beginning, and upon the death of my said daughter Olive Myers said described land shall vest in fee simple in my grandson, the youngest son now living, of my said daughter Olive Myers, Provided, however, that if said Olive Myers or her agents or attorneys shall rent or lease, directly or indirectly, said real estate to William Boyer, then all her right and title to the use of said land immediately terminate, and in that event said lands shall vest in fee simple in the Village of Middletown, Illinois to be used for park purposes.

Third I give and bequeath to my son, Hayes, my clothing and wearing apparel.

Fourth I give and bequeath to my sons Joseph and Chester, and to my daughters Hattie, Mary, Clara, Maude Dora and Lizzie each one dollar ($1.00) to paid out of my cash in hand at the time of my death.

Fifth The rest and residue of my estate, consisting of cash, I have disposed of during my lifetime in such manner as I have desired it should be.

Lastly I hereby nominate and appoint William Squire of the Village of Middletown, Illinois to be the Executor of this, my Last Will and Testament, without bond, hereby revoking all former wills by me made.

In witness thereof, I have hereunto set my hand and seal the twenty fifth day of July in the year of our Lord One Thousand Nine Hundred and five.
